An object’s trajectory can be visualized as a colored line trailing and/or leading the object.

Ways to Plot Trajectory:

Plot Trajectory
Shows object’s trajectory as a colored line.
Object Menu: Right-click object and click Plot Trajectory from the displayed options.
This does not work for sensors and observations.
Top Menu: Select an object. Go to the Menu Bar and click Guides, then click Plot Trajectory.
Plot Trajectory in Observer Frame
Plots object’s trajectory as a colored line in the current visualization frame. Once this is turned on, it cannot be turned off.
Top Menu: Select an object. Go to the Menu Bar and click Guides, then click Plot Trajectory in Observer Frame.
Keyboard: OPTION-SHIFT-COMMAND-Z
