Time controls allow users to adjust the currently set time and the passage of time. Time and the rate at which time passes are displayed in the upper right corner of Cosmographia. Keyboard shortcuts are generally the quickest and most commonly used avenue to control time.

Setting Time |
Setting time means specifying the time at which Cosmographia begins rendering the solar system. |
Adjusting the Time Rate |
Adjusting the time rate means changing the speed and direction of time passage. |
